What do I need before I can use Axiom Agent OS?
Three things: a machine (macOS, Linux or Windows), your own LLM account
(Claude Code, Codex, or any LLM CLI - Axiom never ships, requires, or marks up model access),
and your licence key from the customer portal. Install, then run
axiom license activate <YOUR-LICENSE-KEY>, axiom init, and
axiom doctor.
What's the difference between "Own it" and "Subscribe"?
Own it is a one-time perpetual licence - £7,500 software-only, or preinstalled on a MacBook (£9,950) or Windows workstation (£9,350) - with the first 12 months of maintenance included. Subscribe is per seat, per month (£89.95 Solo, £79.95 Team, £69.95 Business, 25+ seats custom), rolling, cancel anytime. Full detail on pricing.
What happens after the first 12 months if I own it?
Maintenance & updates become optional at £129/month, billed yearly (£1,548/year). Renew for the latest engine and priority support, or decline and keep your current version running at no charge - your licence is perpetual either way.
What are the Axiom OS editions?
Four founding pre-order editions. Linux, macOS and Windows share the same price - £3,995 list, £2,995 founding - and the Founder Edition (everything unlocked) is £5,995 list, £4,995 founding. All four include 3 months of Momentum Simplicity Pro, free. See the editions on the pricing page.
How does the Windows edition arrive? Is there an installer to download?
The Windows edition is a preinstalled appliance: an OEM golden Windows image (sysprep/WIM) built, prepared and QA-checked on hardware we ship - it is never a public download. Updates come through Windows Update for Business servicing rings plus a signed agent channel. (The Agent OS engine, by contrast, has a normal Windows installer.)
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes, off the one-time "Own it" prices: 3–9 units −5%, 10–24 units −10%, and 25+ units/seats is Enterprise - custom pricing with SSO/SAML, a private licence server, priority SLA and a dedicated success manager. The per-seat subscription tiers already build the volume saving in.
Does Axiom see my code, prompts, or keys?
No. Axiom collects zero telemetry - no analytics, no crash reports, no content. You bring your own LLM keys, and model traffic goes directly from your machine to your provider. See the legal page for the full privacy stance.
What does the engine actually ship with?
The discipline layer itself - superposition (parallel approaches), adversarial collapse, and an independent verify gate - plus 9 built-in skills covering routing, parallel execution, systematic debugging, verification, operator discipline, engineering personas, design review, human-centered control and the brain loop. It drives Claude Code, Codex, or any LLM CLI.

Licence key not accepted
Re-copy the key from the portal (use the Copy button - no stray spaces), then reactivate. Moved machines? Deactivate on the old one first, or email us and we'll reset the activation.

Access code or download issues
Your access code is in your welcome email. Installers are signed - verify the SHA-256 checksum published with each release before running. Lost the code or a checksum mismatch? Email us; never run a mismatched installer.
Agent trouble is usually harness trouble
Axiom drives your own Claude Code, Codex, or LLM CLI - check that your provider account
is signed in and funded, and that the CLI runs on its own. axiom doctor
reports which harness Axiom found.
Axiom OS (the bootable image) updates atomically and rolls back automatically on a failed boot - if an update misbehaves, power-cycle and it returns to the last good image, then email us the details.
